I got a Polaroid One 600 camera—which came with two (or maybe it was only one) packs of film—when I got back to Oxford for the Easter break in 2006. This was one of the first photographs I took using the camera, probably beginning a preoccupation with trees in blossom. The tree is on High Street, and has amazing, short-lived, pink blossom every year.

My mother was driving me to work one morning, and I had my camera with me. My window was down, and I took a photograph, one I like even more than the High Street one. All along that area of Greater Leys trees like that tree line the way.
