1 April 2006 – one of the first Polaroids I took.
2 Taken in the same Easter period, from the car on my way to work.

Those photographs, and the magnificence of the blossom on the huge High Street cherry tree, made me want to take a photograph of every single tree I saw in blossom. So I tried to do that, and I edited the photographs down to 87. But none was as good as the first Polaroid. The last photograph I took was of that cherry tree, and it is the most important photograph I took in the two weeks of trying to photograph spring 2009.
