I got an interesting environmental book from the library, despite it being written by Americans living in United States of America. I don't normally like to read books by Americans living in America if the book is about environmental issues because things can be very different between North America and Europe. I got the book, anyway. It is a book of projects one can undertake to help to reduce the amount of carbon one uses in daily life. There is a table of the projects that gives an overview of skill needed to undertake each one, and how much each might cost in materials. A solar panel cooker was the only one that I thought I'd be able to do. It's a very exciting prospect, as well, cooking food in this way.
